Every top sportsman will have a well structured team and support system around them, giving them every opportunity to maximise a positive outcome, thus generating success.
Being a Tour Professional requires frequent travel. For me this can cause stiffness, aches and pains and back stress. In order to keep active I see a masseuse and Chiropractor on a regular basis. If you want a long career in golf you need to stay fit and healthy. This is where Tiger has really taken the game to another level.
Keeping your swing in check requires a swing Coach, with regular bi-monthly visits. Often the coach will accompany me at tournaments in order to gauge the swing to match the conditions of play (e.g. links golf, weather, high altitude, humidity etc) or fine tune areas of improvement (AOI).
We all know that golf can be such a mental game, so most players will work with Sports Physcologists to gain full mental control and maintain a positive mental attitude. Players will also dedicate time working with a Strength & Conditioning Coach, as well as a Nutritionalist to define appropriate diets and fluid intake.
As we all know, Golf is not just about the Swing, there many factors contributing to success. I have tried surrounding myself with the best individuals possible to continue my golfing journey . These people are very instrumental in my success now and in the Future:
